  • 產(chǎn)品描述:

The product CSB-E07341m is a sandwich ELISA kit developed to measure levels of mouse glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF) in serum, plasma, or tissue homogenates. The enzyme-substrate chromogenic reaction is also used to amplify the signal and quantify the levels of the analyte through the intensity of the colored product. The color intensity positively correlates with the amount of GDNF bound in the initial step.

In the nervous system, GDNF not only plays a role in the maintenance of several neuronal populations in the central nervous systems, including midbrain dopamine neurons and motoneurons but also supports survival and regulates the differentiation of many peripheral neurons, including sympathetic, parasympathetic, sensory and enteric neurons. Additionally, GDNF is involved in the regulation of kidney morphogenesis and spermatogenesis. GDNF binds preferentially to GFRα1 and activates the RET tyrosine kinase, playing a crucial role in renal development and regulation of spermatogonia differentiation.
